There is always a way!
Oh my goodness where have the last 12 weeks gone. I don’t know about you but the start of lockdown on one hand feels like yesterday and on the other it feels like a lifetime ago.
Lockdown has brought to me a very mixed bag of emotions, and I’m sure I’m not alone. A little bit of a roller-coaster or corona-coaster.
There is no denying the stress that we are under with the imposed restrictions, may be taking its toll. If you have been feeling it too, you can be rest assured that it is perfectly normal.
Today I would like to update you on current services at Enhanced Wellbeing (both voluntary and paid) and future services.
When forced to shut shop and stop face to face consultations at the beginning of lockdown, I felt a deep sense of responsibility to continue supporting you as my client. Even though I was way out my comfort zone, my commitment to you was stronger, and therefore I converted to online services. After all the Health Kinesiology moto is
‘There is always a way!’
Having experienced working online with colleagues, I knew it was equally possible for clients. So both myself and many of you stepped out of our comfort zones to experience something new.
Our new way of working together has proven very effective, so much so that many wish to continue with online sessions after lockdown. My services have now become available to those further a field, which is great to be able to help the people who need me regardless of distance. I had thought online services were going to be a temporary solution but loan behold they are now here to stay.
Julie one of my regular clients wrote in her Overland and Borders blog
“I find the online sessions even better than the face to face, though I miss Shelagh’s hug at the end. I wouldn’t get that on a face to face now either. Wonder if we will ever get hugs back?
When will we get back to face to face?
Not forgetting those who are unable to access online sessions, preparations are underway to ensure that you are able to access face to face sessions in the safest way possible. Stage 3 of lockdown is the expected stage when the clinic will be able to reopen. I am keeping up to date with the government and my professional body’s recommendations and will let you know as soon as possible when I have an opening date.

designed to share natural ways to find calm within the storm. Here you will find some self help techniques for releasing emotional stress.
Please get in touch if you would like more information on the free group. We connect with each other via the online platform zoom on a Thursday at 3pm. It is an interactive group where we use a tapping technique called Emotional Freedom Technique. As a group we tap around a different topic each week. This is proving to become a very supportive small group of women.
